distinguished bravery in the arrest of a person who is a major threat to the welfare of the community and/or

Awarded for:  A highly unusual accomplishment under adverse conditions with some degree of hazard to life and limb to the nominee or where death or injury to a third party is prevented.
 
Awarded to:  A wound received in the line of duty, inflicted intentionally by an armed adversary and resulting in severe puncture wounds lacerations, fractures, heart failure or concussions being suffered by nominee Awarded for:  An act performed in the line of duty, which through disregard of personal safety or prompt and alert reaction, results in saving a life.

Awarded for:  Individual participation by a member of an operating unit whose efforts led the entire departmental
staff in a cited action.
Awarded for: A team effort under combat conditions including all participating staff members who in support of
Departmental operations, distinguished themselves

Awarded for:  Voluntary assistance and additional safety measures provided by Auxiliary Reserve & Volunteer members  which improved services for their community.

Awarded for:  An act or achievement by a Chief or Sheriff bringing acclaim to the Department and the
Law Enforcement profession.
Awarded for: Eligibility for promotion to a higher title of
rank who qualify to any of the following:  * Seniority in Service Superior Exam Results *Commanding
performance in the line of duty.
Awarded for: Completion of basic training in an exemplary fashion and qualifying under rigid technical requirements established by the code of the academy standards

 in the spirit of competition. The events must be sponsored by the approval of the Department. ie.; Weapon Mastery, Sporting Event Physical Activities, Rappel Mastery.

presented by an elected Official of a community
 to select individuals at his discretion.
Awarded for:  The successful result of an undercover
 and/or stake-out vigilance  and with disregard to
 personal safety, succeeded in the arrest of a narcotic criminal.

 to overcome any dangerous encounter  through the coordinated team of Officer Master and Dog.
Awarded for:  Maintaining the presence

Awarded for: An act of humanity as a friend to those in need, by attending to them in the time of a crisis, accident or danger and providing them with understanding and confidence.

Awarded for: A one year service hitch without reprimand or instance of report of any matter. Worn in left breast Awarded for: Completion of 15 years service and continuing to quality as been professionally ready to perform and dispatch his duties in the highest level of performance. Awarded for: Recognition of an Officer who is eligible for retirement and/or entering new employment opportunities and have serve the community during his period of service in an honorable fashion.

Awarded for: A highly creditable accomplishment bringing public acclaim to the Officer, his/hers Department of the Law Enforcement profession as a result of training and devotion to duty or service to the public. Awarded for: A creditable act in the line of duty, which meets some, but not all of the requirements for others medals, and is unusual in nature, showing initiative and accomplishment.
